You're Swimming In It

 

There is so much to love about swimming but some never get the chance.  We're here to help you overcome your barriers and open a new world.  For those that already swim, we're standing by to take your ability and performance to a new level be it in the pool or the open water.

Start Smart

Everyone can learn to swim lengths in a relaxed and continuous manner. Our special Start Smart progression begins with the single most important step: helping you relax in the water.  From there we slowly develop body position, the kick and the front crawl stroke, progressiong at a comfortable pace for everyone...and having fun on the way!  The only prerequisite to our program is the ability to swim 25m without stop.

Our programs are run in conjunction with our sister organzation, the OTC.  We serve all levels of swimmer, from those who are brand new to high performance athletes.  The session runs October to June.

  • Saturday's *Start Smart* 730-830am or 830-930am, Boys and Girls Club,  2825 duMaurier Ave

  • Saturday's from 715am to 815am at Canterbury Pool,  2185 Arch

  • Sunday's from 7am to 8am at the Nepean Sportsplex, 1701 Woodroffe

  • Sunday's from 8pm to 9pm at Sawmill Pool, 3380 D'Aoust

  • Monday's from 6am to 7am at Canterbury Pool, 2185 Arch

  • Monday's from 630am to 730am at Richcraft Pool, 4101 Innovation

  • Tuesday's from 7:30pm to 8:30pm at Plant Pool, 930 Somerset

  • Wednesday's from 6am to 7am at Canterbury Pool, 2185 Arch

  • Wednesday's from 630am to 730am at Richcraft Pool, 4101 Innovation

  • Thursday's *High Performance* from 7:30pm to 8:30pm at Plant Pool, 930 Somerset 

  • Friday's  from 630am to 730am at Richcraft Pool, 4101 Innovation

Faster Fitter

When you double your speed in water, you quadruple the drag force on your body.  If you don't maintain an efficient technique as you increase your exertion level and speed, you'll waste a lot of energy.  Our coaches will give you the feedback and stroke correction you need to swim fast and efficiently while they also push you to acheive new levels of fitness.  We even have two swim meets each year in case you want to really test yourself.

 

Strength Circuit

 

As we age we lose strength and potentially develop muscular imbalances that lead to injury. Our Tri Fit strength circuits are designed to strengthen and rebalance the athletic body while also improving power and performance.
