The Ottawa Running Club: Celebrating 10 Years
Some friends got together for a run 10 years ago and the ORC was born. Since then, hundreds have been introduced to running, broken personal bests and made new friends.
Aug. 29, 2017: Important and Awesome Changes to the ORC!
The Ottawa Running Club is now officially part of Sole Responsibility.org, a registered charity. Visit us at soleresponsibility.org or ottawarunningclub.org. We will run both this page and the new one for the next few months while we transition.
How ORC Works

Sundays: We meet at 815am at the Bridgehead at 1277 Wellington.

5k/10k: There are 5k and 10k-ish options each week year round.

Marathon and Half: Our awesome program runs from mid-January through Ottawa Race Weekend based at the 440 Richmond Rd Bridgehead.

Start Smart: In January and September we have Sunday Start Smart programs for new runners; THE best learner program in Ottawa.

Tuesday Tempo: Troy's interval workout meets at Dovercourt downstairs desk at 6pm year round.

Tuesday Easy 5k: 7pm from the 1277 Wellington Bridgehead.

Wednesday Track: From May through July we have track workouts at 615pm on Wednesdays at Notre Dame HS.

Thursday Easy 5k: 7pm from the 1277 Wellington Bridgehead.
Our fall Start Smart program commences Sunday, Sept. 17th at 815am at the 1277 Wellington Bridgehead.
Step One: Donate
You earn your membership by making a $60 donation to Sole Responsibility via the "Join Now" link below. Look for the 'pay with credit card' link. Your membership is good for the full calendar year and you're able to come to any club workouts. For new members joining from Sept. 1 to Dec. 31, the fall membership is only $30.
